A personal memoir comic told in short anecdotal, somewhat poetic form.
Something that started as me thinking about doing a book about my father, but evolved into a short story series that really is more my memories than his biography.
This first story introduces me, family, and his death. Work is mixed media on paper, with digital post. The Hagiography from the weekend edition of The Toronto Star, I drew/transcribed that from a copy I have to make it transformative art, using a magnifying glass as I went.
