The Syn-thology!

When I taught Making Comics at Syn Studio at the end of each semester the students work was curated and collected in to the the Syn-Thologies, here’s all 13 issues, from 14 classes! 

Syn-Thology, Vol.13! The Final vol of the Student Comics series collecting the completed work of students in Making Comics at Syn Studio in downtown Montreal! Class of 3/23/20 & Class of 9/9/20! The spring semester was interrupted by the Covid Pandemic and I never got around to putting their work together, so it’s been included in this grand final issue of the series.

Here's the first official Syn-Thology, Vol.1! It's 55 MB and 74 pages of student comics! Enjoy the short stories here, the students turned in some pretty accomplished stuff. The cover art is something I did for the SALON BD MTL, held for the first time during the semester. It was colored with assistance from John Gosselin. Special mention as well to the Copic wielding D-Erika Philippe, who contributed 5 colorful done in one stores that provided perfect pace breakers between longer stories here. The issue features...
