On the site here I’m exploiting the surplus of material out there about writing for film and books because at their core, stories are stories!<\/h2>\n

Studying how<\/a>\u00a0writers<\/a> tell them<\/a> in other mediums is one of the key ways I learned about how to write my own. And being a related visual medium<\/a>, I studied film a lot! I think Darious<\/a> here did a pretty good job exploring the topic of short story telling<\/a>, in his case for film.<\/p>\n

While we’ll get into the differences between comics and film<\/a> in class–and there are some big ones–for the things this series of videos gets into they don’t really matter much. So set aside 50 minutes to get and entertaining crash course here on making stories!<\/p>\n
